Casale Media

I’ve been a longtime user of Casale Media, and have only positive things to say about them.  If you can deliver them pages, they can surely deliver ads. I find getting some sites approved to their system can be tough, but this is actually a positive as I think it helps to improve the quality of their publishers which can help improve eCPMs.

On the technical side, they have the baseline set of creatives that you expect to see on all networks:

  • Banners (728×90)
  • Skyscrapers (120×600 and 160×600)
  • Rectangles (300×250 and 336×280)
  • Popunders

Payments are consistently delivered around the 19th of each month, with weekends impacting payment by a day or two in either direction.  Payments can be made via PayPal or check with user controlled payment thresholds of $25, $50, $250, $500, or $1,000.  Changed to thresholds take effect in the month after changes are submitted.

Private exchanges were designed to bring publishers and buyers closer together, address concerns of channel conflict, and ultimately increase inventory value. We have yet to see this model create a unanimously positive feeling from both buyers and sellers. I contend this is largely because of friction that is inherent in the model of putting one’s […]
