ShareaSale is a Chicago IL based performance marketing network (affiliate network). They have been around for as long as I can remember and are universally respected for their treatment of both affiliates and merchants. As such they have a long standing reputation for on-time payment. At last check, they have over 2500 merchants available to find links for covering the gamut of whatever vertical you are looking for. While I am sure there is an affiliate who has something negative to say about them (there always is), I can not recall seeing a single relevant negative comment about them.
They do maintain a reasonably active blog and they do have a social media presence. They have been active in trying to bring common sense to the discussion on Internet taxation, especially as it relates to affiliates.
