GeekBusiness - Several Well Known Domain Name Registrars

Note: This list is not intended to be an all encompassing list of domain name registrars. It is meant simply to list several of the popular domain name registrars.
Domain Name Registrar Notes
GoDaddy GoDaddy is one of the most popular domain name registrar now. We've used them nearly exclusively for domain name registrations the last several years. GoDaddy has worked extensively to improving their admin interface over the last year or so. Transferring a domain name to another GoDaddy account holder is free.
Yahoo Yahoo has become a big player in the domain name registration business. Getting a domain name at Yahoo is pretty simple and low cost now.
Network Solutions Network Solutions has a reputation of being one of the founding fathers of the domain name registrar business. They are not the cheapest, but they would tell you that they offer a superior product (service). Our experiences with them have been neutral. They are pricey, but many large corporations use them for their full range of services.
ItsYourDomain Geared more toward wholesale domain registration, ItsYourDomain doe not offer the low prices of a GoDaddy, but they do offer price breaks for registering many domain names (first price break is a 51 domains).
